At Romero Capital we speak to people all the time who are convinced they are not eligible for funding. Quite often, this is not actually the case.
The funding market has a vast array of options, specifically to leverage the different types of assets and opportunities business owners most commonly have at their disposal -- and frequently, they may not be assets a business owner even considers valuable.
When meeting with business owners attempting to secure funding, Romero Capital goes through a detailed interview process to understand what you have already tried, what you have been told (and by whom), and what assets you have (e.g. 401K, Stocks, Real Estate, etc.). Once we understand your portfolio at a high level, we are then able to focus our search by capitalizing on your strengths.
Securing funding is not strictly a matter of understanding your assets, though. It is also understanding the details of why you need the funding, how you intend to use it, and how you will be paying it back (depending on the type of funding).
Established business in need of a cash infusion often have alternatives at their disposal they have not previously considered. Working with a specialist to familiarize you with both the options and the process is vital to making sure your funding meets your needs without putting unnecessary strain on your assets or your business.
